Syenta, a startup based in Sydney, Australia, introduces Localized Electrochemical Modeling (LEM), a high-resolution, high-speed, and scalable metallization technology that offers an efficient and sustainable alternative to traditional approaches. LEM combines localized electrodeposition with micron-resolution stamp-based patterning to enable precise, additive fabrication of redistribution layers (RDLs) and microbumps.

Our tool Achyon, eliminates the need for photolithography process steps for each layer, reducing fabrication steps by 60% and significantly increasing overall throughput and capital efficiency. Achyon achieves critical dimensions below 5 µm while maintaining scalability from wafer to panel-level manufacturing. This overcomes the quadratic time-scaling limitations inherent to traditional single-electrode Localized Electrochemical Deposition (LECD) methods, while retaining the high deposition rate benefits.
