About Shawn

Shawn Covell is the head of ESG strategy at Lam Research. She has extensive experience establishing sustainability and community initiatives at leading companies in the technology sector. Shawn also has more than 20 years of experience in government relations. Before joining Lam, she held leadership roles at Paramount Pictures and Intel, and for over a decade at Qualcomm. Shawn earned her M.A. from the University of California at San Diego in international relations and public policy and her B.A. in political science from the University of California at Santa Barbara.
