Today is a sad day in the high tech industry. The news of the death of Apple Founder, Steve Jobs, rippled through the the cocktail reception at IWLPC faster than a 4G download. He was a visionary. He changed the world. Plain and simple. This quote, from his commencement speech at Stanford, in 2005, sums up the amazing man that he was.
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs.
I knew there was a reason I liked that guy.
I invite you all to share your thoughts in tribute to Steve Jobs. ~ F.v.T.
